Our calabash is the famous (or should we say infamous?) wine gourd seen so often in the Kung Fu movies of old. The strange shape of the calabash may at times be conductive to its falling over, which can result with a very unhappy drunk. Nevertheless, the foreign shape adds to the exotic feel of this container. Who hasn’t wished to emulate the drunken martial artists seen so often in movies?
