The turn of the millenium marked the 400th birthday of Taijiquan's founder, the Ming dynasty general, Chen Wangting. To comemorate this event, the top Taiji boxers from today's Chen family gathered during the summer of 2000 in the Chen family village (Chenjiagou) for an unprecedented exhibition of their skills, expressly for this video record. Their performances feature the best of the emerging 20th generation masters, the head of the Chenjiagou Taiji Academy, 19th generation Grandmaster, Chen Xiaoxing and a compilation of performaces by his older brother Grandmaster Chen Xiaowant, the current 19th generation Chen Taiji standard bearer.
