Zhang Gao-Sheng was a professional calligrapher in Beijing until he retired and immigrated to the United States. Today, he still creates these masterful pieces of art, exclusively for Wing Lam Enterprises, Inc. Written in flowing Chinese script is the word "tai chi," meaning the soft martial style popular among the elderly and the spiritual. Measuring 21”x39”, the calligraphy is painted in the traditional manner, dated and chopped by the artist. Each unique piece is hand painted on a flat thin-film calligraphy paper and ready to be framed.
