Traditional Straight Sword (W027-T) questions . . .

Hello,

Could anyone tell me just how flexible this sword is?
The ones available at my school are functional, but of poor quality.
I understand that the term "wushu steel" means the blade is chrome plated, but does the tip bend to 180 degrees?
Can anyone tell me what the handle is wrapped in?
Is this general quality of this sword decent compared to the $20 model?
I'd like to get one, but these questions are keeping me from putting my money down.
