Content Guidelines

1. Traditional Chinese Martial Arts
Articles may be about any style, internal or external, but should be interesting to those who do not practice that particular style. Articles may contain technical training information, but we prefer that they do not wholly consist of a series of techniques. Articles that focus on principles, concepts, or methodologies are, in general, preferable.

2. Chinese Health Practices
Articles may be about qi gong practices, meditation, herbal medicine, acupuncture, or any other aspect of Chinese health practices. Technical information is acceptable, but background information should be provided so that the article is within the grasp of the general reader.

3. Traditional Chinese Culture and its Relationship to Martial Arts
Articles may concern Chinese philosophy, religion, literature, or other aspects of Chinese culture such as calligraphy.

4. Chinese History (particularly in relation to the martial arts)
This topic may include the origins of a particular style, the life of a famous martial artist, the lineage of a style, etc...

5. Personal Experiences
This may include experiences training in China, lessons learned from a well-known teacher, experiences in competition or teaching, etc...
