Musings of a Water Dragon is a collection of short articles that express the theories, philosophies, and spirit of a lifelong martial artist. Through these reflections, Master Saleem hopes to share some of the insights that he has come to through life experiences… his 30 some years as a martial artist, and through meditation. Master Saleem Alamudeen has over 30 years of training in Shaolin Kung Fu. Growing up in Harlem and The Bronx in New York City, Master Saleem Alamudeen began his martial arts training in the early 70’s. His training was demanding in the traditional sense with emphasis on hard body conditioning. He has been fortunate enough to train with some the finest grand masters in the world. Master Saleem has inherited a rich legacy not only in martial knowledge, but also in the true sense of mental and spiritual elevation.
