There are no lions in China, and therefore the great and mighty tiger sits upon the throne. The tiger’s fierce offensive and ripping talons are often emulated in martial technique and there is small wonder why. The crane, in contrast, exhibits unparalleled grace and majesty. Together, the two animals represent the character of the Tiger and Crane Hung Gar set: fierce offensive and agile defensive.
