Butterfly Swords are the favorite weapons of Southern Kung Fu. Short, efficient, and deadly, these weapons build strength and flexibility in your wrists and forearms. In Cantonese, these swords were called “Gai Dao” (punishment blades). Once, they were the only edged weapons that Southern Shaolin monks were permitted to carry.
