Tia-ao Treasure Sword
The fittings on the scabbard and handle are made of a unusual silver brass alloy which does not tarnish. The fittings are decorated with hand made engravings which include traditional Chinese stylized bat designs for good luck. The scabbard and handle use dark teak wood. The Damascus blade has an 1/8” blood groove down the center of the spine which makes the blade lighter and more balanced. This oversized blade is good for Bagua or two-handed sword techniques. Then engravings on the blade are a seven star symbol on one side and the other side has the Tia-ao name. The Tia-ao is one of the famous ancient swords known 2,000 years ago because it was the first steel blade while the others were copper or jade stone. Read more Sheng GuangLong history!!!
