Blade: This blade is constructed out of cold-rolled, chrome plated steel. It is much stiffer than competition Wushu broadswords, but has more flex than most traditional broadswords. Overall length is approximately 38". The blade is approximately 32" in length.

Fittings: The fittings on this weapon are made of steel, with a smooth wooden handle that is mahogany in color.

Recommended Use: This weapon is made for use in beginning traditional broadsword, as well as for conditioning contemporary Wushu broadsword ability. Though contemporary Wushu utilizes light, flexible weapons in performance, practicing the sets with heavier weapons at a slower pace trains smoothness and power...both of which are foundational attributes that are usually focused on before speed.
