Traditional Combat Double Gen (Ancient Chinese Police Batons)
This high carbon stainless steel custom made Double Gen is especially designed for the Hasayfu Hung Gar Style. In recreating this historical weapon, great efforts were made to match the ancient measurements to the finest detail in a combat grade weapon. The main shaft is reminiscent of bamboo sections, and was used for striking the opponents and to crack the bones without breaking the skin. The tip has a decorative calabash vine design that was used to jam into the rib cage to break the ribs which can inflict severe pain without drawing blood. Additionally the pair of parrying hooks can be used to trap and lock onto the opponent’s weapon. The hooks can serve as a belt hook, which made the weapons convenient to carry, and the specially designed short handle allows concealment under clothing. Overall length: 19.25"
