In this cd, you will find the unpolished, passionate northern tunes of wind and percussion and the refined, elegant southern melodies of gongs and drums. There are 12 most popular celebration tunes of Mainland and Taiwan collected in this album. Listening to the music, the listener is engulfed into the carnival atmosphere of New Year activities; e.g., the lion dance, the dragon dance, the atilt-walking, and the Lantern festival.
