Three-Section Foam Staff
Staff Sections: The sections are constructed of hard, hollow black plastic wrapped in black foam. This ensures light-weight and increases safety in a beginner's training. Each section is approximately 24" in length and approximately 1.25” in diameter. Overall length is approximately 85". Links: Constructed of steel, with seven chain links between each ball-bearing swivel. Approximate Weight: 1.25 lbs. Recommended use: This weapon is made for use by beginning practitioners of three-section staff. During initial learning, it is best to use a foam-padded three-section staff to prevent injury and expedite progress (both injuries and anxiety of being hit can delay improvement). Once the practitioner is comfortable and has sufficient basic skill, he/she should move on to wooden varieties.
